The Salvation Army of Montgomery County Red Kettle Kick Off

While the holidays are often called the most wonderful time of the year, many of our neighbors in need experience them differently. Every year, The Salvation Army of Montgomery County works to provide food, shelter, and a bit of holiday joy — made possible by the generosity of our local community.

As the demand for assistance continues to rise, The Salvation Army of Montgomery County is preparing to raise $310,000 to meet the needs of its life-changing programs and services. Each year, more than 112,000 people in our community rely on these vital funds through the Red Kettle Campaign, supporting services like The Wayne Bergstrom Center of Hope Emergency Shelter, community food pantry, ready made meal ministry, utility assistance, clothing closet, Community Thanksgiving for over 3,000 people, Angel Tree, and Emergency Disaster Services. The Salvation Army of Montgomery County has recent began offering extensive case management services to assist with housing assessment, job search assistance, job readiness, veteran services, life skills classes, and connections to recovery groups to help families and individuals move toward self-sufficiency.
