Wesley Sinor announced as Grand Marshal of 60th Annual Go Texan Parade
February 13, 2025 - (Conroe, TX) – Wesley Sinor will serve as Grand Marshal of the 60th Annual Conroe-Willis-The Woodlands Metro Go Texan Parade in Conroe on Saturday February 22, 2025. He is a graduate of Texas A&M University where he obtained a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering in 1990 and then continued his education at Rice University where he received his MBA in Business in 1996.
The Go Texan Parade begins at 1 p.m. in Downtown Conroe.
Mr. Sinor joined the Houston Livestock Show as a Life Member in 2003 and was one of the founding members of the Gatekeepers Committee. In 2009, he was elected to the Board of Directors and from 2014 to 2016 served as Vice President of HLSR. In 2018, he was elected to the executive committee. During his service at HLSR, he has also been a member of various other committees, including Audit, Budget, Investment, Long Range Planning, Governess, Scholarship Task Force, and Compensation, among others.
In his professional career he previously owned Sinor Engine Company which designed, manufactured and repaired natural gas engines and compressors. Sinor Engine was the world leader in Superior Natural Gas Engines with over 85% of market share. The company also designed and built a 200,000-square-foot warehouse facility where it designed, built, and manufactured this equipment. The company was sold in 2019, and Wesley now works as a consultant.
Wesley met his wife, Cassie, at the Rodeo. He continues to stay involved and sponsors numerous organizations via Texas A&M, Houston Livestock Show, and his community. Wesley is also a life member of several horse organizations including Houston Polo Club, USPA, AQUA, NCHA, and ACHA. Sinor is an avid horseman and likes working at his Sinor Ranch and W Bar S Horse Farm. When not at the ranch Wesley also enjoys spending time with his wife, Vaquero brothers, and playing golf.
