Navy Veteran Traci Stahl Partners with Brain Injury Network to Bring IBICA-based Brain Injury Clubhouse Program to Houston & Surrounding Areas

Houston, Texas – Navy Veteran and dedicated volunteer of Henry’s Home, Horse and Human Sanctuary, Traci Stahl, is spearheading an initiative to launch a non-profit Brain Injury Network (BIN) clubhouse program based on the International Brain Injury Clubhouse Association (IBICA) standards program in Houston, in collaboration with Brian White, BIN Executive Director. This effort aims to extend vital support and resources to adults affected by brain injuries in Houston.

With 12 years of successful programs in Dallas and Fort Worth, BIN sets a benchmark in brain injury rehabilitation and community reintegration. These programs provide a nurturing environment where individuals can embark on a journey of continued recovery, empowerment, and personal growth.

Traci Stahl has a deeply personal connection to this cause. Her son, Trent, also a Navy Veteran suffered a traumatic brain injury (TBI) and has thrived through the supportive programs offered at Henry's Home, Horse and Human Sanctuary. The transformative impact of these programs on Trent's recovery underscores the importance of expanding similar initiatives to Houston.

"The success stories from BIN’s Dallas and Fort Worth area programs inspire us to bring such transformative support to Houston," said Traci. "With community backing, we can open new doors for survivors and their families."

The clubhouse model is renowned for fostering community, empowerment, and skill development. For more information on the IBICA clubhouse, please visit www.braininjuryclubhouse.net.

A call to action is issued for local organizations, healthcare providers, survivors, caregivers and citizens to rally behind this initiative. Community support is crucial to creating a robust collaboration that foster hope, community and purpose for those affected by brain injuries.
