Young Professionals: Networking Effectively
The Conroe/Lake Conroe Chamber Young Professionals Network is designed to provide professional development, networking, mentoring, and volunteer opportunities to chamber members under 40 (or those young at heart!).
With programs and events offered every month, you or your staff will grow professionally, make new connections, and give back to our community.
The series will kick off with a presentation by Will Warren, Co-President of Sleep in Heavenly Peace – Montgomery, on how young professionals can network more effectively.
Will Warren is originally from southern California. He studied history at the University of California, Irvine and then taught English in Japan for a few years. For the last 16 years, Will has served in the financial services industry with various leadership roles at the retail branch level, wealth management and in his current role as Market President with TDECU (Texas Dow Employees Credit Union), the largest credit union in Greater Houston.
Will realized his passion for networking while serving in a chapter of BNI. He served as the president of his BNI chapter and was also committed to inviting new members to join and develop meaningful business relationships. Through his continuous involvement with various nonprofit organizations and chambers of commerce, Will has developed several best practices about professional business networking.
He currently serves on four local nonprofit boards of directors. In March 2021, he co-founded a local chapter of a national nonprofit organization called Sleep in Heavenly Peace Montgomery County, TX Chapter, which is also a proud member of the Conroe/Lake Conroe Chamber of Commerce.
Will enjoys international travel, snowboarding and trail running. He has been a resident of The Woodlands for over 5 years, and he’s a proud uncle of his 4 nephews and 2 nieces.
