2022 Conflict Resolution Day Bookmark Art Contest
The Dispute Resolution Center of Montgomery County, Inc. (DRC-MC) seeks entries for its 2022 Conflict Resolution Day Bookmark Art Contest.
The contest is open to all Montgomery County students in grades K through 8.
- Categories:
- Level 1=Kindergarten through Second grade
- Level 2=Third through Fifth grade
- Level 3 = Sixth through Eighth Grade.
Theme: Bookmark art must reflect a conflict resolution or prevention theme, such as peer mediation, talking things out, apologizing, respecting differences, solving problems together, listening, tolerance, peace building, or alternatives to violence.
Deadline: All original artwork must be received before 5:00 p.m. on March 9, 2022.
Winners will be listed on the DRC-MC website by March 28, 2022. Faxed or emailed bookmarks will not be accepted. An awards ceremony will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. Judge Kathleen Hamilton will present awards to the winners. Winning bookmarks will also be displayed at the Montgomery County Memorial Library System, Central Branch.
