About Us

Children’s Safe Harbor is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit Children’s Advocacy Center serving Montgomery, Walker, and San Jacinto counties and the Greater Houston area. Our mission is simple but powerful: Justice. Healing. Hope We exist to ensure that every child who has experienced severe physical abuse, sexual assault, trafficking, or other trauma receives the support, protection, and justice they deserve.
Through a multidisciplinary, child-centered approach, we bring together law enforcement, forensic medical professionals, mental health counselors, and family advocates to provide a coordinated response in one safe, compassionate environment. From the first forensic interview to ongoing counseling, medical care, and advocacy, we support both the child and their non-offending family members every step of the way.
Since opening our doors in 1998, we have served tens of thousands of children and families. With the right care and strong community support, we believe every child has the power to heal, find hope, and build a brighter future.
